MaxBet (Saba Sports) Review 2026: Licence Check, Bet Types and Live Betting

Short answer: Saba Sports is the sportsbook that Malaysian casino lobbies often still label MaxBet, and it was sold as IBCbet before that. It supplies odds and bet settlement to casinos rather than taking players directly. On 20 October 2026 the Anjouan register listed its operating company, Winsupreme Technology Limitada, with a valid B2B licence (ALSI-202510002-FI1); our testers have not bet on it yet.

Who runs Saba Sports, its old names, and the licence we checked

Saba Sports says it has been in Asia's sports betting market since 1998 and sells its sportsbook to operators. Its business site is owned and operated by Winsupreme Technology Limitada, a Costa Rica company (registration 3-102-929984), and names an Anjouan B2B licence, ALSI-202510002-FI1. On 20 October 2026 the Anjouan register listed that number for Winsupreme as valid, issued on 6 October 2025 and expiring on 5 October 2027, covering Saba's two business sites. In Malaysian casino lobbies and betting guides the same sportsbook is often still called MaxBet, and before that IBCbet; Saba's own site uses neither name. Do not confuse it with MaxBet, a bookmaker in Serbia.

Sports, bet types and odds

Saba says it covers more than 40 sports categories itself, over 100 through partner suppliers, and more than 5,000 live football matches a month. Its pages describe Asian handicap and over/under as its core football markets, single bets and parlays on one ticket, and special markets such as first and last corner, exact corners per half and penalty kick odd/even. Beyond sports it offers virtual games, a number game, Saba E-Sports and a lottery-style product on football, NBA and esports results. Saba's business site promotes Myanmar odds but does not list its other odds formats, so check the odds setting in your casino's Sports lobby before betting.

Live betting, and how Saba Sports appears inside a casino

Saba says it covers more than 216,000 live events a year and more than 1,000 at the same time, with in-play settlement, in-play cash out and live streams hosted by presenters who chat with viewers. It sells only to operators: a casino adds Saba to its Sports lobby through Saba's API or one of its layouts, such as Galaxy View or Compact View, on desktop, mobile web or a native app. Saba sets the odds and settles the bets; the casino holds your balance, decides your stake limits and pays withdrawals. The Anjouan licence covers Saba's supply to operators, not the casino you play at.

What this means for a player in Malaysia

Online sports betting is not licensed in Malaysia, and no Malaysian body takes complaints about a casino or a sportsbook. Anjouan is a light-touch licence that gives players little practical help if a casino will not pay, and a withdrawal problem starts with the casino in any case. You may also be offered a MaxBet account by an 'agent' who gives credit outside any casino; that is a different and riskier arrangement, with no published terms and no regulator behind it. If your casino labels its sports lobby MaxBet, SABA or Saba Sports, it refers to the sportsbook reviewed here.

What our testers will check

Hands-on testing has not started, and nothing on this page comes from our own bets. When our testers do bet through Saba Sports at the casinos we review, they plan to record which odds formats the lobby offers and which is the default, the minimum picks and payout cap for a parlay, how quickly a live bet is accepted on a Malaysian mobile connection, whether in-play cash out appears, and the lowest and highest stakes at each casino. Until then, this review reports only what Saba and the Anjouan register publish, as checked on 20 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Is MaxBet the same as Saba Sports?

In practice, yes. Casino lobbies and betting guides in Malaysia use MaxBet and Saba Sports for the same sportsbook, and IBCbet was the name before MaxBet. Saba's own business site uses only the Saba Sports name, so this name history comes from those third-party pages rather than from Saba itself.

Is MaxBet (Saba Sports) legit?

Saba's operating company, Winsupreme Technology Limitada, holds Anjouan B2B licence ALSI-202510002-FI1, which the Anjouan register showed as valid on 20 October 2026 (issued 6 October 2025, expiring 5 October 2027). Anjouan is a light-touch licence, and it covers Saba's supply to casinos, not the casino itself, so check the casino separately.

What was IBCbet?

IBCbet is the older name of the sportsbook later sold as MaxBet and now as Saba Sports. Older guides, forums and broker menus still use IBCbet and MaxBet as if they were one name. Saba itself says only that its business dates back to 1998.

Who owns Saba Sports?

Saba's business site says it is owned and operated by Winsupreme Technology Limitada, a company registered in Costa Rica (3-102-929984). It does not name the people or the group behind that company.

Does Saba Sports offer Malay odds?

Saba's business site does not list its odds formats; it only promotes Myanmar odds as a product. Check the odds setting inside your casino's Sports lobby before you bet, and switch to Malay odds there if the lobby offers them.

What can I bet on with Saba Sports?

Saba says it covers more than 40 sports categories, and its pages name football, basketball, cricket and esports, plus virtual games and a number game. Football markets include Asian handicap, over/under, corner markets and parlays, and in-play cash out on some bets.

Which casinos have MaxBet or Saba Sports?

The table further down this page lists the casinos we review that name MaxBet or Saba Sports among their game providers. Casinos can switch sportsbooks, so check the Sports lobby of the casino you use.

Is this the same MaxBet as the bookmaker in Serbia?

No. A bookmaker in Serbia also trades as MaxBet; it is a different company from the Asian sportsbook covered here. Search results often mix the two, so check which one a page is talking about.
