Casino Bonus Rollover Calculator (Malaysia, 2026)

Work out how much you have to bet before you can withdraw a casino bonus, how many spins that is, and what clearing it is likely to cost you on average. Pick a real offer from a casino we review, or type in your own numbers.

Fills in the bonus percentage. Rollover terms differ by casino and change often, so check the multiplier in the offer terms.
30x is common in Malaysia. Some offers use 20x or 40x.
Most slots are 94-97%. Used to estimate what clearing costs on average.

How the calculation works

The rollover (also called turnover or wagering requirement) is how much you have to bet before bonus money can be withdrawn. The sum is:

Total to bet = (deposit + bonus) × rollover

Some casinos only count the bonus, which makes it bonus × rollover instead and is much easier to clear. Check which one your offer uses.

Then comes the part most players miss: game contribution. Slots usually count 100% of each bet towards the rollover. Live casino and table games often count 10% or less. So if you clear a slots bonus at the baccarat table, every MYR 100 you bet only counts as MYR 10, and the amount you really have to bet is ten times bigger.

A worked example

You deposit MYR 100 and take a 288% bonus. You get MYR 288 in bonus money, so your balance is MYR 388. At 30x on deposit plus bonus, you have to bet MYR 11,640. At MYR 1 a spin, that is 11,640 spins.

At 96% RTP, slots pay back MYR 96 of every MYR 100 bet on average, so clearing MYR 11,640 of bets costs about MYR 466 on average. That is more than the MYR 288 bonus, which is why a huge headline bonus is often not worth taking. The same deposit with a 50% bonus at 30x needs MYR 4,500 of bets and costs about MYR 180 on average against a MYR 50 bonus. Neither is free money, but the smaller one is far easier to finish.

What the "average cost" means

It is a long-run average, not a prediction. On any one session you might win big or lose everything, and many players lose their balance before the rollover is done. The number is useful for comparing offers: if the average cost of clearing is bigger than the bonus, the bonus is working against you. In that case, deposit without it, or look at casinos that pay a cash rebate instead, since rebate has no rollover at all.

Before you claim any bonus

  • Check the max bet rule. Most bonuses limit each bet to around MYR 5 to MYR 10 while the bonus is active. Going over it can cancel your winnings.
  • Check the expiry. Many bonuses expire in 3 to 14 days. If you cannot bet the total in time, you lose the bonus.
  • Check the withdrawal cap. Free credit offers often cap what you can withdraw at MYR 50 to MYR 200.
  • Do your ID check first. Upload your ID when you sign up, so your withdrawal is not held once you finish the rollover.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate a casino rollover?

Multiply the amount the rollover applies to by the rollover number. For most Malaysian offers that is (deposit + bonus) x rollover. A MYR 100 deposit with a 100% bonus at 30x means (100 + 100) x 30 = MYR 6,000 of bets before you can withdraw.

What is the difference between rollover and turnover?

Nothing. Rollover, turnover and wagering requirement all mean the total amount you have to bet before bonus money can be withdrawn.

Does live casino count towards the rollover?

Usually only a small part. Slots normally count 100% of each bet, while live casino and table games often count 10% or less, so clearing a slots bonus at baccarat takes about ten times as much betting.

Is a 288% bonus worth it?

Often not. At 30x on deposit plus bonus, MYR 100 with a 288% bonus needs MYR 11,640 of bets. At 96% RTP that costs about MYR 466 on average, more than the MYR 288 bonus. Smaller bonuses, or a cash rebate with no rollover, are usually better value.

What happens if I withdraw before finishing the rollover?

At most casinos the bonus is cancelled, and often any winnings made with it too. Check the terms before you ask for a withdrawal while a bonus is still active.
