How we checked them
For each sportsbook we looked for the company behind it and searched the public registers of the Isle of Man, Malta, Curaçao and the other regulators it named, on 20 October 2026. A licence counts as confirmed only when the register itself shows it with a number. Where a licence is named without a number, or a register does not list it, we say so on its page.
What the sportsbook decides, and what the casino decides
The sportsbook opens the markets, sets the odds and settles the bets. The casino decides your bet limits, which sportsbook sits in its Sports lobby and, most of all, whether you are paid. A licensed sportsbook does not make the casino that carries it licensed, and online sports betting is not licensed in Malaysia, so no local regulator takes complaints about either.
Malay odds in one paragraph
Most of these sportsbooks offer Malay odds. A positive price such as 0.85 means a RM10 bet wins RM8.50; a negative one such as -0.90 means you risk RM9 to win RM10. Hong Kong odds show only the profit (0.85) and decimal odds add the stake back (1.85). Our odds converter turns one into the others.
