This is the calculation that decides whether a bonus is worth claiming. The method matters more than any single casino's numbers, so work it out yourself every time:
Turnover required = (deposit + bonus) × rollover multiplier
Take a 288% welcome bonus on a MYR 100 deposit. You receive MYR 288 in bonus funds, giving a MYR 388 balance. At a 30x rollover, you must wager MYR 11,640 before any of it can be withdrawn. At 40x, it becomes MYR 15,520. The bonus headline did not change; the amount of play required rose by almost MYR 4,000.
Two details quietly change that figure:
- Is the rollover on the bonus only, or on deposit + bonus? Bonus-only is far better. On the example above it drops the requirement from MYR 11,640 to MYR 8,640.
- Which games count? Slots usually contribute 100%. Live casino and table games often contribute 10% or less, meaning MYR 100 wagered at baccarat may count as MYR 10 toward the rollover. Clearing a slots bonus at the baccarat table is close to impossible, and this is the single most common way players lose a bonus balance.
