1xBet Malaysia Review 2026: Is It Legit?
Last checked 22 September 2026. We have not played at 1xBet with real money, and we have no deal with them. This page covers what they publish, what we could check, and what we couldn't.
Short answer
1xBet is a very large international bookmaker, it takes ringgit, and many players do get paid. It is also one of the most controversial brands in betting. It holds a Curacao licence, it left the UK in 2019 after a newspaper investigation, and in Malaysia its domains are blocked, so it runs through mirror sites that are easy to fake. Legit in the sense of being a real company, yes. Low-risk, no.
What is 1xBet?
A global sportsbook and casino with a huge number of markets, available to Malaysians in ringgit. The operator named for its Curacao licence is Caecus N.V. Because the Malaysian regulator MCMC blocks gambling domains, 1xBet is reached through alternative addresses, and search results for it are crowded with look-alike sites.
Licence: what it claims and what we could check
- Licence: Curacao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1262/0493, held by Caecus N.V. Check the Curacao register for its current status, since these licences are issued for fixed terms.
- The UK: in 2019 1xBet closed its UK site after a Sunday Times investigation into its advertising, including on illegal and adult websites. The Gambling Commission had opened an investigation.
- What that means for you: a Curacao licence gives no complaints route that works in practice. If a withdrawal is refused, nobody outside 1xBet will step in.

Deposits, withdrawals and bonuses (as advertised)
- Currency: MYR supported.
- Minimum deposit: about RM5 with most e-wallets, RM10 to RM30 for some methods, according to review sites.
- Payment methods: Touch 'n Go, DuitNow QR, GrabPay, Boost, FPX and online banking, cards, Skrill and dozens of cryptocurrencies.
- Withdrawals: one reviewer timed e-wallet payouts at under 15 minutes. Cards take 1 to 5 working days.
- You usually have to withdraw by the same method you deposited with. A mismatch is the most common reason a 1xBet withdrawal is rejected.
- Bonuses: large welcome packages, with 25x wagering on the casino one according to review sites. Read the rules before taking one.
Bonus rollover decides whether an offer is worth taking. Check it with our rollover calculator.
Watch out for fake 1xBet sites
Because the real domains are blocked in Malaysia, links to "1xBet Malaysia" get passed around on Telegram, WhatsApp and in search results. Some are official mirrors, some are copies built to take deposits. Many sites with "1xbet" in the address are affiliates or fakes, not the operator. If you can't be sure a link is real, don't log in or deposit through it.
Why 1xBet isn't in our rankings
Every casino we rank has been through the same test: sign up, deposit, play, and time a real withdrawal to our bank. We haven't done that at 1xBet, so we won't give it a score. Players report both smooth payouts and blocked withdrawals or closed accounts, often around ID checks and bonus rules. We can't tell you which is typical.
If you play at 1xBet anyway
- Make a small first deposit, no more than about RM50.
- Finish ID verification before you deposit more, so a withdrawal isn't held for it later.
- Skip the welcome bonus on the first try. An unfinished rollover is the most common reason a withdrawal gets refused.
- Withdraw once and time it. If the money arrives, you have your answer. If it doesn't, you've lost very little.
- Only log in through an address you've checked. Copy sites of casinos that take Malaysians are common.
