Who makes Spadegaming fishing games, and the licence we checked

Spadegaming describes itself as an Asia-based developer of slots and fishing games for casino operators. The contact details on its site name S.P.G. Malta Limited in Sliema, Malta. On 20 October 2026 the Malta Gaming Authority's verification page listed S.P.G Malta LTD as licensed under MGA/B2B/482/2018, a business-to-business critical supply licence for Type 1 casino games, and named Spadegaming's website as the licensee's site. Spadegaming says Fishing God became the first multiplayer fish hunting game approved by the Malta regulator, in 2020, and that Fishing War and Alien Hunter followed in 2022. Its slots are reviewed separately on our site.

Spadegaming's fishing titles and what sets them apart

Spadegaming's games page lists three fishing games. Fishing God, released in January 2020, is a multiplayer game with more than 25 kinds of fish, three levels from beginner to expert, a Free Game mode with the Firestorm rapid-fire cannon, special crabs and jellyfish, and a Dragon King's Treasure and Golden Fortune Bag that appear at random. Fishing War, from August 2022, lets players switch between single and double cannons or use a lightning slash, with four special fish and three bosses. Alien Hunter moves the hunt to an alien planet, with three difficulty levels, Target, Auto, Double and Torch tools, three bosses and a Buy Feature.

RTP: what Spadegaming publishes

In the game data behind its site, Spadegaming gives Alien Hunter an RTP of 96.5% and labels it medium volatility. It gives no RTP for Fishing God or Fishing War; the field is empty. Two more fishing records, Fishing Legend at 96.5% and Zombie Party at 96%, sit in the same data but not on its public games page. These are the studio's own long-run figures: a fishing game's return depends on capture chances the player cannot see, so it cannot be worked out from the rules. Spadegaming does not say whether casinos can pick another setting, so go by the game's information screen at your casino.

What this means for a player in Malaysia

Spadegaming sells to casino operators, so its fishing games only appear inside a casino's fishing lobby, and each casino decides which titles it carries and the bet range. Spadegaming says it has made games playable on tablets and smartphones since 2013. Fishing God and Fishing War each offer three levels for players of different experience. Online casinos are not licensed in Malaysia. The language list in Spadegaming's game data has twelve languages, including English, Chinese and Indonesian, but not Malay. Because Fishing Legend and Zombie Party are missing from its public list, a lobby may or may not carry them.

What our testers will check

Hands-on testing has not started, and nothing on this page comes from our own play. When our testers open Spadegaming's fishing games, they plan to record how quickly Fishing God and Alien Hunter load on a Malaysian mobile connection, the lowest and highest cannon bets at a few casinos, whether the information screen shows 96.5% for Alien Hunter or any figure for Fishing God, and whether Fishing Legend or Zombie Party appear in lobbies at all. Until then, this review reports only what Spadegaming and the Malta regulator publish, as read on 20 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Is Spadegaming legit?

Spadegaming's licence holder is regulated. On 20 October 2026 the Malta Gaming Authority register showed S.P.G Malta LTD as licensed under MGA/B2B/482/2018 for Type 1 casino games, with Spadegaming's website listed. A licensed studio does not make every casino that carries its games licensed, so check the casino as well.

What is the RTP of Spadegaming Fishing God?

Spadegaming does not publish one: the RTP field for Fishing God is empty in its game data, and the same goes for Fishing War. Its records give 96.5% for Alien Hunter and Fishing Legend and 96% for Zombie Party. For Fishing God, look at the information screen inside the game at your casino.

What fishing games does Spadegaming have?

Its games page lists Fishing God (2020), Fishing War (2022) and Alien Hunter (2022). Its game data also holds Fishing Legend and Zombie Party, which are not on the public list. A 2023 post on its site said another fishing game was planned for late 2023.

Is Spadegaming Fishing God multiplayer?

Yes. Spadegaming describes Fishing God as a multiplayer arcade game with more than 25 kinds of fish and three gameplay levels, and Fishing War as a multi-player game where players compete and also work together against the monsters.

What is Spadegaming Fishing Legend?

It is a fishing game in Spadegaming's own data, with a 96.5% RTP and medium volatility, that is not on its public games page and has no description there. A 2025 trade news report describes it as a new Spadegaming release with three bosses; we could not confirm those details on Spadegaming's own pages.

Can I play Spadegaming fishing games on my phone?

Spadegaming says it has led mobile development since 2013, with games playable on all tablets and smartphones. Whether a fishing table runs smoothly also depends on the casino site and your connection, which our testers will check later.

Do Spadegaming fishing games have Malay?

Not according to its game data, which lists twelve languages: English, Chinese, Indonesian, Thai, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Russian, Spanish and French. A casino may still show its own menus in Malay.

Who owns Spadegaming?

The contact details on its site give S.P.G. Malta Limited, company number C82473, in Sliema, Malta, the company that holds the Malta licence. Spadegaming does not publish a founding year; it says only that it has made mobile games since 2013.
