How we checked them
For each studio we looked for the company behind it and searched the public registers of Malta, Curaçao and the other regulators it named, on 20 October 2026. A licence counts as confirmed only when the register itself shows it with a number. Where a licence is named without a number, or a register does not list it, we say so on its page.
What the studio decides, and what the casino decides
The studio makes the game: the fish, the multipliers and the maths behind them. The casino decides which fishing games appear in its lobby, the bet sizes and, most of all, whether you are paid. A licensed studio does not make the casino that carries it licensed, and online gambling is not licensed in Malaysia, so no local regulator takes complaints about either.
