Play'n GO Slot Review 2026: Tested on Three Phones, With Official RTP
Short answer: 2 of the 22 casinos we tested list Play'n GO: 96M and EG33. Our three testers scored it 5 out of 5 on their phones.
Our hands-on review of Play'n GO slots
Play'n GO slots played smoothly on all three phones. Every game our testers opened ran upright with no stutter, in Chinese, Malay or English, and the first one opened in two to four seconds, slowest on 4G. One tester singled out the rules screen as unusually clear. Its grid slots, such as Moon Princess 100 and Rise of Olympus 100, are built around clearing the screen for multipliers, while Gemix plays more like a match-three phone game. All three reached a bonus feature; one found the games generous and the other two called them average, an impression of 15 minutes rather than a measure of payback. Play'n GO holds Malta and UK licences, which we checked.

What our testers noticed
- Bernard: Moon Princess 100's three princesses take turns using their powers, and clearing the grid is satisfying, but I finished about level. It has the quality of a top international studio, and the rules screen is unusually clear and well set out.
- HY: In Rise of Olympus 100, Zeus cleared the screen and released his power, and I blew the whole grid open for a high multiplier. On 5G it ran extremely smoothly, upright the whole way, with seamless transitions.
- Rizqi: Gemix, where you clear the board and move from one stage to the next, is a lot like a match-three phone game: very entertaining, but the wins and losses stay small. On 4G, once it had loaded it never stuttered, and the picture is sharp held upright.

Play'n GO does not print RTP on its game pages, so these figures come from the rules screen of each game's official free demo, read on 16 October 2026, which states the average RTP of the version being played. Review sites report lower-RTP versions of some of its games, which Play'n GO's own pages do not list. Its pages give no maximum win either, and the cap written into its rules changes from one market's version to another, so that column is left empty; release dates are from Play'n GO's game pages. Check the rules screen of the game at your casino: that is the figure that applies. A 15-minute session like our testers' shows how a game feels, not what it pays back over time.
Licence and testing
Play'n GO Malta Limited holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence, MGA/B2B/225/2012, and an active UK Gambling Commission licence, account 55949; we checked both on the regulators' registers on 16 October 2026. Play'n GO (Gibraltar) Limited also appears on the Gibraltar Gambling Division's list of licence holders. In all, Play'n GO's site lists licences in 24 jurisdictions, including Sweden, Denmark, Ontario and New Jersey, which we did not check one by one, and game testing by GLI, BMM and Quinel. These cover the studio and its games, not the casino you play at: none of the casinos that take Malaysian players is licensed in Malaysia. Play'n GO also warns that some suppliers offer copies of its games while posing as its distributors, and that such copies may not be certified for fairness.
Who it suits
Players who like grid slots that clear the screen for multipliers, Greek myths or anime-style heroines, and anyone who prefers a match-three feel to the classic five-reel slot. Check the RTP in the game's rules screen before you settle on one.

Frequently asked questions
Is Play'n GO legit?
Yes. Play'n GO Malta Limited holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence, MGA/B2B/225/2012, and an active UK Gambling Commission licence, account 55949, both of which we checked on the regulators' registers on 16 October 2026. Those licences cover the studio and its games, not the casino you play at.
What is the RTP of Play'n GO slots?
Play'n GO does not print it on its game pages, but the rules screen of its official demo does: Book of Dead 96.21%, Reactoonz 96.51%, Moon Princess 100 96.20% and Gemix 96.83%. The rules give the RTP of the version you are playing, so check the same screen at your casino.
Do Play'n GO games have lower-RTP versions?
Review sites report lower versions of some titles, such as Book of Dead, but Play'n GO's own pages do not list any. Because the rules screen states the RTP of the version you are playing, that screen settles it for the game at your casino.
Are there fake copies of Play'n GO games?
Play'n GO says so itself: it warns that some suppliers offer copies of its games while posing as its distributors, and that such copies may not be certified for fairness. It publishes no check a player can run, so it matters which casino you play at.
Are Play'n GO slots high volatility?
Play'n GO does not publish a volatility rating on its pages. In our testers' sessions the grid slots swung most: one tester blew the screen open on Rise of Olympus 100 for a high multiplier, while Gemix stayed mild. Fifteen minutes says nothing about what a game pays back.
Can I play Play'n GO slots for free?
Yes. Each game page on Play'n GO's own site has a free demo, and Play'n GO says all its games can be played that way, so you can see how a slot plays before you try it at a casino.
Do Play'n GO games work on a phone?
Yes. All three of our testers played every game upright, and none of them saw a stutter. The first game opened in 2 to 4 seconds, slowest on 4G. Play'n GO says its games are built for mobile first.
Are Play'n GO games in Chinese and Malay?
Yes. All three testers saw Chinese, Malay and English, and the official rules screen of Book of Dead also comes in Malay and Simplified Chinese.
How many casinos carry Play'n GO?
Two of the 22 casinos we tested list Play'n GO among their games. A studio deal says nothing about whether a casino pays out, so read the casino's own review too.
How did you test Play'n GO?
Three testers each played three Play'n GO games for about 15 minutes on their own phone, one on Wi-Fi, one on 5G and one on 4G, and scored the interface, the speed and the whole experience out of 5.
