Playtech Live is the live dealer division of Playtech plc, which says it was founded in 1999 and has a premium listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. On 20 October 2026 the UK Gambling Commission register showed Playtech Plc, account 38516, with active remote Casino and Gambling Software licences among others. The Malta Gaming Authority register listed Playtech P.L.C. as Licensed under MGA/CRP/137/2007, a B2B critical supply licence, with a registered address in Douglas, Isle of Man. Both numbers match the licence statement in the footer of Playtech's own website.
Where the studios are and what the tables are like
Playtech says its studio network includes a flagship facility in Latvia and live studios in Romania and Spain, with further sites in Peru, Brazil and the United States, including Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and a partnership studio in Las Vegas. Alongside roulette and blackjack, its catalogue leans on branded game shows such as Family Feud, Jumanji and Deal or No Deal. Playtech also builds bespoke tables and dedicated studio space for operators, so the same game can look different from one casino to the next.
Games that stand out, and the house edge
Roulette is Playtech's best-documented live game, including Quantum Roulette and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, where random multipliers change the payouts; a standard single-zero wheel returns 97.30%. Playtech publishes an RTP of 99.55% for Blackjack VZN, a hybrid multiplayer game that uses no live dealer or physical cards. Its current live casino page does not mention baccarat, although trade press reported Playtech launching Prestige Baccarat in 2016 and FashionTV Jackpot Baccarat in 2022. Where standard baccarat is offered with eight decks, Banker returns 98.94% after the 5% commission and Player returns 98.76%.
What this means for a player in Malaysia
