12Play Review 2026: Is It Legit?

Short answer
12Play is a long-running casino for Malaysia and Singapore, around since about 2014, and plenty of people play there. The problem is paperwork. It is reported as licensed by PAGCOR and Curacao, but it shows no licence number and doesn't name the company behind it, so neither claim can be checked. Some players also report frozen accounts and held withdrawals. If you play, keep deposits small until you've had a withdrawal paid.
What is 12Play?
An online casino and sportsbook for Malaysian and Singapore players, with slots, live casino, sports betting and crypto payments. Review sites give its start date as 2014, though a few say 2008 or 2018. The website doesn't name the operating company; one review site names it as Asia Technologize.
Licence: what it claims and what we could check
- What 12Play claims: PAGCOR and the Curacao Gaming Control Board, as reported by review sites, without a licence number or a certificate link.
- Other review sites: one points out that without a number the licence can't be checked and may not exist.
- What we found: nothing we could match to a regulator's register. A real PAGCOR licence would show up under a named company. A Curacao licence, even a real one, gives you no complaints route, because the Curacao regulator doesn't handle individual player disputes.

Why 12Play isn't in our rankings
Every casino we rank has been through the same test: sign up, deposit, play, and time a real withdrawal to our bank. We haven't done that at 12Play, so we won't give it a score. Reports elsewhere are mixed: fast payouts for some players, and complaints about frozen accounts and held withdrawals from others. We can't tell you which is typical.
If you play at 12Play anyway
- Make a small first deposit, no more than about RM50.
- Finish ID verification before you deposit more, so a withdrawal isn't held for it later.
- Skip the welcome bonus on the first try. An unfinished rollover is the most common reason a withdrawal gets refused.
- Withdraw once and time it. If the money arrives, you have your answer. If it doesn't, you've lost very little.
- Only log in through an address you've checked. Copy sites of casinos that take Malaysians are common.

Is 12Play legal in Malaysia?
Malaysia doesn't license online casinos, and 12Play is licensed offshore at best. Gambling is covered by laws such as the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953 and the Betting Act 1953. It's up to you to follow the law where you live, and you must be 18 or over.
