Who makes JetX, and the licence we checked

JetX is made by SmartSoft Gaming, which says it was founded in Georgia in 2015 and now has partners in more than 70 countries. The company named in the footer of its site is Smartsoft Limited, company registration C 99015, in Birkirkara, Malta. On 21 October 2026 the Malta Gaming Authority's verification page listed SmartSoft Limited as licensed under MGA/B2B/925/2021, a business-to-business critical supply licence for Type 1 casino games. SmartSoft also lists a Romanian licence, Nr.1180/28.06.2021, and a permit from Georgia's Ministry of Finance, which we did not check on those registers.

JetX and SmartSoft's other crash games

SmartSoft says JetX, launched in 2018, was the first flying crash game. A jet climbs, the multiplier rises, and a bet has to be collected before the jet explodes. The current version, which SmartSoft calls the New Era of JetX, allows up to four bets in one round, advanced autoplay and auto cashout, live player data and round history and a moderated chat, in a 3.9 MB package. SmartSoft's crash list also includes Helicopter X, Propel X, FootballX, CarX, BalloonX, Cricket X, CricketerX, AviaStar, Smash X and World Champion X. Propel X, for example, allows two bets per round.

RTP: what SmartSoft publishes

SmartSoft's game pages do not show an RTP, but the JetX rules loaded by its official demo say the RTP ranges from 96.2% to 98.9%, depending on the selected gameplay settings and the game configuration. The rules explain that the figure changes with the cash-out multiplier a player chooses, which is why it is given as a range rather than one number. They also say the result of each round is set by the game system and is not influenced by a player's actions, earlier rounds or bet size. We found no published RTP for SmartSoft's other crash titles, so check each game's rules screen.

What this means for a player in Malaysia

SmartSoft sells to casino operators, so JetX only appears inside a casino's lobby, and the minimum and maximum stake and the maximum win per bet are set for each casino and shown in the game. On 21 October 2026 SmartSoft appeared as a provider in the lobbies of two Malaysia-facing casino sites we looked at, and our casino records list JetX as a featured game at one casino. SmartSoft says the new JetX runs on modest phones and uneven networks, and its rules warn that a cash-out request can be delayed by around 200 to 300 milliseconds. Online casinos are not licensed in Malaysia.

What our testers will check

Hands-on testing has not started, and nothing on this page comes from our own play. When our testers open JetX at a few casinos, they plan to record which RTP range the rules screen shows, the stake limits and maximum win each casino sets, how quickly the game loads on a Malaysian mobile connection, and whether the four-bet layout is available. They will also look for SmartSoft's other crash titles in local lobbies. Until then, this review reports only what SmartSoft and the Malta regulator publish, as read on 21 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Is JetX legit?

JetX comes from a licensed studio. On 21 October 2026 the Malta Gaming Authority register showed SmartSoft Limited as licensed under MGA/B2B/925/2021 for Type 1 casino games. A licensed studio does not make every casino that offers JetX licensed, so check the casino as well.

Is JetX rigged?

SmartSoft's rules say the result of each JetX round is determined by the game system and is not influenced by a player's actions, earlier rounds, bet size or cash-out choices. The game is supplied under SmartSoft's Malta licence. Our testers have not played it yet.

What is the RTP of JetX?

The JetX rules in SmartSoft's official demo give a range of 96.2% to 98.9%, depending on the gameplay settings and the game configuration. Check the rules screen at your casino for the figure that applies there.

Who makes JetX?

SmartSoft Gaming, which says it was founded in Georgia in 2015. The licensed company named on its site is Smartsoft Limited, registration C 99015, in Birkirkara, Malta.

How does JetX work?

Place a bet before the jet takes off, watch the multiplier rise, and collect before the jet explodes. The win is the bet times the multiplier at the moment of a successful cash-out; if the jet explodes first, the bet is lost.

How many bets can I place in JetX?

SmartSoft's current rules allow one, two or four separate bets in the same round, within the minimum and maximum stake shown in the game. Auto cashout can be set for each bet.

Is JetX the same as Aviator?

No. JetX is made by SmartSoft Gaming and Aviator by Spribe. Both are crash games in which a multiplier rises until a plane or jet leaves, but they come from different companies with different licences, rules and RTP figures.

Can I play JetX on my phone?

SmartSoft says the new JetX is 3.9 MB and runs smoothly on modest phones and uneven networks, and its games are built for phone, tablet and desktop. Our testers will check loading on Malaysian mobile connections later.
