Who makes Spaceman, and the licences we checked

Spaceman, Big Bass Crash and High Flyer are made by Pragmatic Play, which describes itself as a Veridian (Gibraltar) Limited investment. The footer of its site names Pragmatic Play (Gibraltar) Limited and UK Gambling Commission account 56015. On 21 October 2026 that register showed the company's remote gambling software and casino game host licence as active since 30 January 2020. The Malta Gaming Authority register showed Arrise Solutions (Malta) Limited, which the UK register links to a former Pragmatic Play trading name, as licensed under MGA/B2B/317/2016. Pragmatic's slots are reviewed separately on our site.

Pragmatic Play's three crash games

Pragmatic calls Spaceman its original crash game. An astronaut flies past planets while a win multiplier rises, and a bet has to be cashed out before he stops; Pragmatic says wins go up to 5,000x the bet. Spaceman introduced a 50% cashout, which takes a win on half the stake while the other half stays in the round, and it offers auto-cashout limits, statistics and leaderboards. Big Bass Crash brings in the fisherman from the Big Bass slots, with the same 50% option, live leaderboards and chat. High Flyer adds two bet spots per round and multipliers up to 1,000,000x.

RTP: what Pragmatic publishes

Pragmatic's game pages give Spaceman an RTP of 95%, Big Bass Crash 95.50% and High Flyer 97.00%. Some other websites quote 96.5% for Spaceman, a figure we could not find on Pragmatic's own page, so the rules screen inside the game at your casino is the figure to go by. RTP is a long-run average over a very large number of rounds and says nothing about a single session. Pragmatic's crash pages say the multiplier can rise quickly or stop at any moment, but they do not explain how each round's stopping point is set.

What this means for a player in Malaysia

Pragmatic sells to casino operators, so its crash games only appear in a casino's lobby, and each casino sets the bet range. Pragmatic Play appears in the provider lists of 17 casinos in our own records, but those lists do not say whether each casino carries the crash titles, so look in the crash or mini games lobby. Pragmatic says its crash games need no learning curve, have little waiting time between rounds and come with autoplay, auto cashout, optional chat and statistics. Online casinos are not licensed in Malaysia.

What our testers will check

Hands-on testing has not started, and nothing on this page comes from our own play. When our testers open Spaceman, Big Bass Crash and High Flyer at a few casinos, they plan to record the RTP shown in each rules screen, whether Spaceman shows 95% or another figure, the bet limits each casino sets, how the 50% cashout behaves, and how quickly the games load on a Malaysian mobile connection. Until then, this review reports only what Pragmatic Play and the regulators publish, as read on 21 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Is Spaceman legit?

Spaceman comes from a licensed studio. On 21 October 2026 the UK Gambling Commission register showed Pragmatic Play (Gibraltar) Limited, account 56015, with an active remote gambling software and casino game host licence. A licensed studio does not make every casino that offers Spaceman licensed, so check the casino too.

What is the RTP of Spaceman?

Pragmatic's Spaceman page gives 95%. Other websites often quote 96.5%, which we could not find on Pragmatic's page. The rules screen inside the game at your casino shows the figure that applies there.

Is Spaceman a slot?

No. Pragmatic's page title calls it a slot demo, but the game itself is a crash game: a multiplier rises while the astronaut flies, and a bet must be cashed out before he stops. Pragmatic lists it under Crash Games.

How does the 50% cashout in Spaceman work?

Pragmatic says the 50% cashout lets a player take a win on half the stake and leave the other half in the round for a higher but riskier result. It can also be set to happen automatically at a chosen multiplier.

What is the maximum win in Spaceman?

Pragmatic's crash games page says Spaceman offers wins of up to 5,000x the bet. High Flyer goes up to 1,000,000x, and Pragmatic says Big Bass Crash wins go up to 500,000 euros. Each casino may also set its own limits.

What crash games does Pragmatic Play make?

Pragmatic's Crash Games page lists three: Spaceman, Big Bass Crash and High Flyer. Their published RTPs are 95%, 95.50% and 97.00%.

Who owns Pragmatic Play?

Pragmatic's site says the company is a Veridian (Gibraltar) Limited investment. Its UK licence is held by Pragmatic Play (Gibraltar) Limited, account 56015 on the UK Gambling Commission register.

Where can I play Spaceman in Malaysia?

We do not recommend casinos on this page. Pragmatic supplies its games to casino operators, and whether a casino carries Spaceman is shown in its crash or mini games lobby. Check any site's own licence first.
